Geora, Finnies Award Winner 2020!

We’re thrilled to announce Geora as the winner of the award for Excellence in Blockchain/Distributed Ledger at the FinTech Australia Finnies 2020 awards, celebrating the best of Australian fintech!

We are particularly honoured to be amongst such exceptional finalists for the Excellence in Blockchain category this year. It is a significant achievement for the industry to see so many solutions in-production and delivering real value for customers.

The Finnies20 award caps off an exciting year for our team, which saw the launch of many new features in the Geora platform including verified certificates and the developer portal, growth into Singapore, and over 70 new users.

This year at the Finnies20 we showcased our work with the Australian Tea Tree Industry Association, driving traceability and trade innovation for Australia’s tea tree farmers.

Customer Showcase — ATTIA

This year our team worked with the Australian Tea Tree Industry Association to tackle the Australian tea tree oil traceability and mark protection challenges with an application that allows producers to verify that their produce is 100% pure, Australian, Code of Practice accredited, tea tree oil (TTO). By certifying and validating each batch of TTO produced, we aim to give producers and traders tools to prevent the adulteration of TTO, provide transparent and traceable records, and help participants in the tea tree industry differentiate and add value to their products.
